Microsoft Security Essentials – a so-so free program

Microsoft has finally come out with the final version of its Security Essentials program – a free program which guards against viruses and malware.

The market reaction is lukewarm, and the general feeling is that you will do better with other free programs such as AVG, Avast and Avira.
